Our journey started with after-school facility for kids in primary and middle school. Since then, we have been redefining the concept of tuition and coaching for over 20 years using proven methodology.

In 1998, we realized that due to changing social-economic conditions invariably young parents are anxious to provide all the required support to their kids and groom them into good successful citizens. This calls for all round development of the kids which includes excellence in academics, appropriate social skills, self – confidence, sound health and positive attitude, during their formative years between 5 to 15years.

In practice, however, invariably parental support is focused on academics during primary and middle school with very little focus on all round development of the kid. The result: kids join the competitive world for a coveted academic qualification without being adequately equipped to face challenges along the way. Kids have to be equipped with skills such as communication, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving and innovation to manage these challenges. In today’s environment, kids have limited opportunity to develop these skills. Consequently, majority of them are unable to make their mark in academics at school and are left doubting their own capabilities due to lack of these skills. From then on, parents have to put in extraordinary effort, provided they have the time and skills, to support the kids and bring them back on track. It is an uphill task from here on!

What if a support system is available where kids in the formative years and their parents can have their capabilities in this context assessed jointly by experts and chalk out a path to achieve their goal? Needless to say, the path will have to be tailored for each kid & parent combination. Thereafter, the system provides support after school along the agreed path to mould the kids into good citizen and their excellence in academics is a by-product! The need for such a system was compelling.

Thus, in 1999, Prodigy Kids was born.

There has been no looking back since then. Over the last 20 years, Prodigy Kids has been successfully grooming thousands of kids from diverse social, economic and global backgrounds with positive results. Our unique approach has withstood the onslaught of technology in delivery of education, ubiquitous gadgets/ games targeted at kids, proliferation of online distractions and the increasingly evident mindless herd like approach to educate our kids in schools. Happy parents and kids who have benefited from our expertise are a testimony to this.
So, we continue our journey inspiring as any kids as we can, along the way. The success of these kids, in turn, keep us motivated and the cycle continues…

Wafa believes when one makes passion a successful profession, results will be profound. Some of the happiest memories of her life are filled with teachers who made the connect with her class. Inspiration from enthusiasm and professionalism combined with fun demonstrated by teachers in her school, has shaped her perspective about educating kids. This admiration for her teachers evolved into the passion of her life – to make every kid shine like a star.

She founded Prodigy Kids in 1999 and has been moulding young minds since then.

Sarah Poornima – Senior Mentor

Sarah has the distinction of being the first mentor at Prodigy Kids and has been enabling kids to express themselves effectively for over 15 years. Imparting English language skills to middle and high school kids is her strength. She continues to learn and build on this, by adapting her mentoring techniques to equip kids, with ability to leverage English language skills to excel in academics and career.

Bharthi Sai- Mentor

Bharthi has been successfully mentoring kids at Prodigy for over 5 years. She believes in leveraging the synergy that is evident when parents align their thinking to that of their kids in guiding them through middle school. Her efforts in enabling this synergy and mentoring has drawn wide spread appreciation from parents.
